Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education emphasizes and teaches students the skills needed to be successful leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers in their careers. STEM education introduced in elementary and middle school can be especially helpful in teaching students to think critically early on and spark a lifelong passion for STEM.
To pursue an outreach project larger than any one student or one year of the team; to create a lasting impact on our community besides the annual collection of outreach events and programs; to expand our network of learners and educators – we launched the Community Impact Project. The Community Impact Project took the hopes and goals of leads from various years and turned them into a feasible plan over multiple years. We apply our engineering principles to build scalable, affordable, and easy to teach lessons with both technical and non-technical members.
